The U.S. Open is in full swing. Here are photos from Thursday’s finals.

A total of 11 women have reached the final of a Grand Slam. With Saturday’s final, it is now 16 women who have made it to the fourth round.

Below, we give you photos of the women’s singles matches at the U.S. Open this past week. First up, Stefan Edberg against Juan Martin del Potro. In the second match, the top seeded Ana Ivanovic defeated second seed Simona Halep in straight sets. Then, Petra Kvitova outplayed Angelique Kerber to reach the quarterfinals.

In the men’s singles finals, Fernando Verdasco defeated Jo-Wilfried Tsonga to reach the second round. In the second match, Novak Djokovic looked strong again against Philipp Kohlschreiber.
