This restaurant runs with no trash cans. ‘It’s the right thing to do’ said the boss to the kitchen staff. They all left. This is a family owned restaurant. If you are offended by another’s trash, you are more likely to offend them.
The restaurant’s manager was asked what would happen if they opened another nearby restaurant. He said “that was the end of us.” I asked about the people who worked for this restaurant. They said he was fired for his attitude and for not following proper procedure in running a restaurant. This is a family owned business. This is a place I was not going to spend my money. I was going to go eat elsewhere.
This is a small business that does not take care to maintain its property or its employees. I was not going to waste my time and my money because I was told over and over that this is the way it has to be. The manager of this restaurant told me this over and over that it has to be this way. He told me it has to be that way. Why am I not just going to leave and find another place?
My only complaint is that the employees left after being told that I could not have any trash. They said they were not going to risk my trash on their property. They said that they could not afford to lose even one trash bag. I offered to contribute to their waste stream. They did not want to hear it. My property was not valued at $200 and I offered to contribute $50 towards our trash and they accepted it. I offered to spend an even dollar in order to get rid of my trash. The manager refused to let me throw my trash away. I was willing to contribute $50 to the trash and he refused. I can pay for our food and our restaurant is $200 or I can just leave because some people are not willing to accept that some people are not willing to put their trash where others put their trash.
I don’t get it. My garbage wasn’t going to the dump. I’m the one that had to put it in the dumpster. Why should it go to other people? Does it matter if it is my garbage? We don’t live in a garbage dump. We have a business. They should not be throwing it there. They should not throw it in other people’s trash. Why should we
